Jorge is an experienced gardener, certified permaculture designer, and nature photographer. Jorge has lived on the Sunshine Coast since 2005. His keen interest in organic food production, plants & gardening became a self directed educational experience under the Mentorship & Guidance of the late

Robin Wheeler, gardener & owner of Edible landscapes, Robin was the founder of the One Straw Society on the Sunshine Coast.

Jorge obtained his Permaculture Certification with https://www.visionarypermaculture.com/  During the last 13 years and ongoing Jorge has worked thousands of hours in many beautiful properties, gardens and farms on the Sunshine Coast gaining valuable experience on the ground about, flowers, plants, garden design, microclimates, food trees, food forest, edible plants, design and natural farming.

Jorge is also a certified facilitator for Social Ethical an Emotional Learning SEE Learning an innovative K-12 education program, started at the Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-. Jorge's intention is to share a universal and science-based approach to bringing the ethical development of the whole child integrating mindfulness training, deep ecology awareness & permaculture ethics  focusing on developing Attention and Awareness Training as well as nurturing compassion for self and others.
